Two ways to track an AI Overview

Keyword tracking looks at live Google results for keywords you pick. It notes whether an AI Overview appeared, whether your site was cited and which other pages Google used. It is close to classic rank tracking.

Prompt tracking asks a question in an AI engine such as Google AI Mode or ChatGPT and reads the answer. It picks up how people ask in full sentences, which a keyword list misses.
