The short answer
An AI visibility tool for a UK business costs from about £99 to £500 a month plus VAT. Agencies running many clients pay more, around £1,500 a month plus VAT for ten. Cheaper trackers exist, but most of them price in dollars.
axgeo.ai starts at £99 a month plus VAT. Every price is on our pricing page.
The three ways tools charge
Per prompt
You pay for a set number of questions, sometimes per engine. It looks cheap for a small test. The cost rises as you add questions, engines or locations.
Per credit
You buy credits and each check uses some up. A credit might be one question on one engine on one day. That makes the monthly bill hard to predict, especially for an agency.
Flat monthly plan
You pay one price, and the plan sets how many locations and questions you get. You know the bill before you start. axgeo.ai uses this model.
Dollars, pounds and VAT
Most AI visibility tools are priced in US dollars. Most also show prices before tax. For a UK buyer that means two extra costs.
First, the exchange rate. A $95 plan does not cost a fixed amount in pounds. Your card charge moves each month with the rate, and your bank may add a fee for paying in a foreign currency.
Second, VAT. Business software in the UK is usually priced before VAT at 20%. If you are VAT registered you can reclaim it. If you are not, it is a real cost on top of the headline.
