In brief
A workspace holds everything for one business or site, from prompts and rankings to members and settings. If you belong to more than one, switch between them from the workspace name at the top of the screen. Each workspace keeps its own members and settings, including your alerts.
Key points
- One workspace covers one business or site.
- Click the workspace name at the top of the screen to open Switch client.
- Members, roles, alerts, prompts and settings are separate in each workspace.
- Agency covers up to 10 sites and Group covers 5.
- To add a workspace for another site or client, email the axgeo.ai team.

A workspace holds everything for one business or site. Its prompts, AI answers, rankings, pages, reviews, reports, tasks and settings all live inside it. Agencies and groups often belong to several, one for each client or site.
How to switch workspace
- Click the workspace name at the top left of any page.
- The Switch client menu lists every workspace you belong to. The one you are in shows current.
- Click another workspace. Its Overview opens.
When you sign in, you land in the first workspace you belong to. If you belong to just one, the menu lists only that one.
Before you change anything, check the workspace name at the top of the screen and the plan pill beside it. It is easy to edit the wrong client when several look alike.
What each workspace keeps separately
- Members and roles. Someone can be an admin in one workspace and a viewer in another, and only sees the workspaces they have been added to. See Members.
- Alerts. Your alert choices apply to one workspace at a time. Set them in each one on Alerts.
- Brief, fact sheet, locations and offers. Each business has its own facts and tone. See Brief and Fact sheet.
- Prompts, competitors and rank tracking. Each workspace tracks its own questions and searches. See Prompts.
- Logo, report colours and digest recipients. Reports carry the logo of the workspace they come from. See Workspace settings and Reports.
- API keys. A key reads one workspace only. See Data API and CSV exports.
Adding a workspace
To add a workspace for another site or client, email us at [email protected] with the business name and website. We set it up and add you as a member, and you can then invite the rest of the team.
How many sites your plan covers is shown in Plans, allowances and credits. Agency covers up to 10 sites, and Group covers 5, with extra Group sites available.
Setting up a new client quickly
For each new workspace, run through the same short list.
- Finish the Welcome checklist.
- Write the brief and check the fact sheet.
- Review the prompts and set up rank tracking.
- Add the client's own team on Members, usually as editors or viewers.
- Add the people who should get the weekly digest on Reports.
Common problems
A client's workspace is missing from my list
You haven't been added to it. Ask that workspace's owner to add you on Settings, Members, or email [email protected].
I changed something in the wrong workspace
Switch to the right workspace and make the change there, then undo it in the other one. Most settings save per workspace and don't affect the rest.
