How can we help?
Step-by-step help for every part of axgeo.ai, with screenshots. Search below or pick a section.
Getting started
Getting started with axgeo.ai
axgeo.ai shows how AI engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Mode talk about your business, and helps you improve it. Start by finishing set-up, checking your facts and prompts, and choosing the Google searches to track. This page shows where every part of the app lives.
Sign up, sign in and reset your password
You sign up by choosing a plan, filling in a short form and paying through Stripe. Your workspace is then created and you are signed in automatically. After that you sign in with your work email and password, and you can reset the password yourself from the sign-in page.
Set up your new workspace
Straight after sign-up you see a short wizard to invite your team and launch your workspace. It then opens a Welcome checklist of set-up steps, such as finding your Google listing and choosing searches to track. Every step can be skipped and finished later.
Read your Overview page
The Overview is the first page you see in a workspace. It sums up your page scores, how often AI engines mention you, open tasks and your Google Business rating. Each card links through to the page with the detail.
AI visibility
Read your GEO Monitor dashboard
The Dashboard tab of GEO Monitor sums up how often AI engines name and cite your business. It shows your Visibility Score, how many of your prompts you appear for, your share of voice against competitors and the latest answers.
Add and manage prompts
Prompts are the buyer questions GEO Monitor asks AI engines for you, such as best dentist in Guildford or best kitchen fitter in Leeds. On the Prompts tab you add, edit, pause and delete them, choose which engines answer, run them on demand and see which ones name your business.
Read individual AI answers on the Runs tab
The Runs tab lists every time your prompts were asked, newest first. Open a run to read each AI engine's answer, see whether it named you and where, which pages it cited and which competitors it mentioned.
Compare yourself with competitors in AI answers
The Competitors tab shows how your business stacks up against rivals in AI answers. It covers your share of voice, how early you are named, how often you are recommended, which untracked brands the AI suggests, and a URL Analyser for any competitor page.
Compare AI visibility by market
AI engines give different answers depending on where the person asking is. The Markets tab lets you add the towns, regions or countries you serve, run a prompt across them and compare your share of voice in each market side by side.
See which sources AI cites and which AI bots visit
The Sources tab in GEO Monitor shows what kind of pages and sites AI engines cite when they answer questions in your market, and lets you open the actual sources. Lower down, it shows which AI crawlers visit your own website and which pages they read.
See which pages AI engines cite
Two pages show the citations behind your AI answers. Top Citation Sources ranks the domains AI engines cite most for your prompts. Your URLs in AI Citations lists every time an answer cited a page on your own website, with the prompt and engine.
Track Google AI Overviews and AI Mode
The Google AI tab shows how often Google showed your pages inside AI Overviews and AI Mode. Google doesn't offer this report through its API yet, so you export it from Search Console and upload the file here. Each upload adds to your history.
Track Microsoft Copilot citations
The Copilot tab shows how often Microsoft Copilot and Bing's AI answers cited your pages, using the AI Performance report from Bing Webmaster Tools. You export the report and upload it here, then add the searches Bing ran to your tracked prompts.
Check and fix what AI says about you
The Accuracy tab checks what AI engines say about your business against your fact sheet. Each claim is rated red for wrong, amber for partly true or risky, and green for correct. You can find the pages behind a wrong claim and send the fix to Work.
Find topic gaps against competitors
The Topics tab checks what AI engines connect with your brand for each of your core topics, compared with up to three competitors and your own website. It lists the gaps, where engines link a sub-topic to competitors but not to you, with a suggested fix for each.
Track page optimisation with checklists
The Optimise tab is a checklist of 28 GEO and SEO checks for each page you add. Check the live page to tick what is already in place, tick the rest by hand as you fix them, and send anything outstanding to Work.
AI visibility metrics explained
This glossary explains every AI visibility number in GEO Monitor in plain English, from Visibility Score and mention rate to share of voice, prominence and sentiment. Each entry says what the number counts and how to read it.
Search rankings
Read your rank tracking results
Rank Tracking shows where your website appears on Google for the keywords you track, in each location. The list page compares your locations, and each campaign page shows daily positions, search features and how rankings have moved between two dates.
Create and manage rank tracking campaigns
A rank tracking campaign is a list of keywords checked on Google for one location and one device. Create a campaign with New campaign, change it with Edit, and use Duplicate to track the same keywords in another town or on another device.
See visits and leads from AI tools in Analytics
The Analytics page brings your Google Analytics 4 and Search Console data into axgeo.ai. It shows visits from AI tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity, the searches that bring people to your site, and which pages turn visitors into leads.
Content and pages
Find and analyse your pages
The Pages screen lists every page we have found on your website and scores each one for SEO, technical health, content, linking, trust and AI signals. Crawl your site or add pages by hand, run the analysis, then work through the lowest scores first.
Read a page's checks and fix them
Each page has its own screen showing its overall score, a score for each of six areas and every individual check, passed or failed. Use it to see exactly what to fix, turn failed checks into tasks and copy ready-made schema for the page.
Content pages and AI article drafts
The Pages tab in Content lists your pages by score, highest first, so you can see which ones need content work. When you are ready to write, open a task on your Work board and generate an AI article draft with a title, meta description and body you can copy into your site.
Find prompts where AI names competitors
Prompt gaps lists the questions from your prompt set where AI engines named a competitor but not you. Each gap shows which engines missed you, who they named instead and which sites they cited. You can then send it to your Work board.
Check and add schema to your pages
The Schema tab shows the structured data found on each analysed page and the schema types that usually help for that kind of page. Use it to find pages with something missing, then open each one to build the JSON-LD with the schema generator at no credit cost.
Build your llms.txt file
The llms.txt tab builds a plain text file that lists your main pages with their titles and descriptions. Build it from your own pages, check and edit it in the app, then download it and upload it to your website. It is included in your plan and uses no credits.
Use your content opportunities list
Opportunities is your ranked worklist of what to write or fix next. It is built from your Search Console, rank tracking and AI prompt data, grouped by page and sorted by commercial value. Refresh it, filter it, analyse an item with AI and send the work to your tasks board.
Find real questions with QA Finder
QA Finder shows the questions people really ask about a topic, taken from Google autocomplete, People Also Ask, Reddit and your own enquiries. Tick the useful ones to add them to your prompts or tasks, or generate an AI answer pack you can paste onto your site.
See which Reddit communities AI cites
The Reddit page lists the Reddit communities AI engines cite when they answer your tracked prompts. It also shows other discussion sites and the business sources they point to. Press Discover communities after new runs, then star the communities worth your time.
Local and reviews
Track your Google Business Profile
The Google Business page tracks the rating and reviews on each of your Google Business Profile listings. Add your listings with Auto-discover or by hand, and they are kept in sync for you. You can also tag reviews to campaigns and see which ones bring in reviews.
Track reviews and write replies
Your reviews live on the Google Business page. Google reviews come in automatically, and you can draft a reply to any of them with AI, edit it and copy it into Google. The Other platforms tab tracks reviews from Trustpilot, Checkatrade, Yell and similar sites.
Add your locations and offers
Settings, Locations & offers is where you list your showrooms, offices, offers and finance deals. axgeo.ai checks AI answers against this list and flags wrong addresses, closed locations and ended offers. Add what you have, keep old items with their dates, and switch on the checks once each list is complete.
Links and citations
Manage directory citations
Directory Citations keeps a record of every directory and platform where your business is listed. On the Directories tab you add listings, set whether each one is live, claimed, pending or not claimed, and see how much of your directory list is active.
Run a NAP audit
The NAP audit reads each of your directory listings and checks the business name, phone number and postcode against the details you have confirmed. Press Check all listings, then fix anything marked Mismatch or No details shown.
Use the link building pipeline
The Pipeline tab in Link Building tracks your link outreach from first prospect to live placement. Add the sites you want links from, move them through Prospecting, Contacted and Negotiating, and mark each one live when the link goes up.
Track backlinks and find link gaps
The Backlinks tab is your record of the sites that link to you. The Link gap tab compares your site with up to five competitors and lists sites that link to them but not to you. You can then add the best ones to your pipeline.
Reports
Tasks and time
Plan and track work
The Work page holds every task for your workspace, from fixing a wrong fact in AI answers to publishing a new page. Create tasks, move them through To do, In progress, With client and Done, plan each month, and log the time spent.
Approve work with sign-offs
Sign-offs lists the tasks waiting for your approval. Open one to approve it or ask for changes. Each decision records your name, the time and the exact version you saw, so there is a clear record of what was agreed.
Team and account
Change your workspace details, logo and report colours
Settings, Workspace holds the basic details of your workspace. Here you upload the logo for your PDF reports, choose the report colours, and edit the workspace name, website, Google Place ID and industry. Save each card with its own button.
Write your brief and writing style guide
Settings, Brief holds two pieces of text that feed every AI generation in your workspace. The brief gives the facts about your business. The writing style guide says how the words should read. Fill both in once and every new draft, answer pack and review reply uses them.
Keep your fact sheet up to date
The fact sheet is the list of facts that every AI answer about your business is checked against. Add or correct anything missing or wrong, approve facts drafted from your website, and confirm old facts that are still true. Each fact you add is also checked against your website.
Add team members and set their roles
Settings, Members lists everyone with access to your workspace. Owners and admins can add people by email, and each person gets an email to join. You choose each person's role and specialism, and the Management specialism decides who approves sign-offs. Your plan sets how many users you can have.
Work across several workspaces
A workspace holds everything for one business or site, from prompts and rankings to members and settings. If you belong to more than one, switch between them from the workspace name at the top of the screen. Each workspace keeps its own members and settings, including your alerts.
Choose your alerts and see which emails you get
Settings, Alerts lets you choose which alerts you see in the bell at the top of the screen and which come by email. The checks run every morning for each workspace. This page also explains the other emails axgeo.ai sends, such as the weekly digest, work reports and billing notices.
Billing and plans
Plans, allowances and credits
Every axgeo.ai plan comes with a set of allowances, such as questions checked each week, AI engines and Google keywords. Work inside those allowances is paid for by your monthly price. A few extras use credits, which you can top up from Settings, Billing.
Manage billing, invoices and payments
The Billing tab in Settings shows your current plan, your credit balance, your billing details and your invoices. Use it to choose a plan, buy credit packs, add your VAT number and download invoice PDFs.
Integrations
Connect Google Analytics, Search Console and Business Profile
Connect Google Analytics 4 and Search Console so axgeo.ai can read your traffic, leads and search queries. You sign in with Google, pick the property or site for this workspace, and data then syncs every day. Your Google Business Profile is added on the Google Business page instead.
Connect SEMrush and import rankings
The SEMrush section on Settings, Integrations brings your SEMrush Position Tracking rankings into axgeo.ai. Add your API key, create a campaign for each location and device, then upload a CSV export or sync by project ID.
Use the data API and CSV exports
Settings, API lets you make read-only keys to pull your workspace's data into spreadsheets, dashboards and your own tools. Across the app, CSV buttons download the data on the main screens. Neither uses credits.
